Liuanlin-MX just launched MXTune, a new free VST plugin that fixes singing mistakes and makes your vocals fit in note and makes it sound better. It works with any Digital Audio Workstatio (DAW) running on Windows and Linux. It’s great to see new developers making free tools for everyone to use. Even though Liuanlin-MX is new, their first tool, MXTune, is worth trying.

MXTune isn’t really good looking free pitch correction plugin, but it does a really good job fixing singing mistakes. If you’ve used other singing software or VST Plugins like Melodyne or Autotune, you’ll find MXTune easy to use because it looks similar.

With MXTune, pitch correction is fairly simple. You can make the singing notes stick to a certain scale automatically. Or, if you prefer, you can adjust each note yourself using a tool that’s a lot like drawing on a computer. You just move little dots around to change the singing.

Liuanlin-MX used special technology called Autotalent and Soundtouch to make MXTune work. These are free tools that help make the singing sound better, but they’re not as fancy as the ones used in expensive software. Still, MXTune does a pretty good job for a free tool!
